What is the opportunity?
Our RBC Operational Risk team is currently hiring a Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives. We strive to evolve operational risk with technological products and services that drive consistency across business segments, regions, and legal entities. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives to support key programs that align with our organizational goals.
What will you do?
Support the development, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives related to Operational Risk Collaborate with key stakeholders across RBC, including senior leadership, to support the development of initiative scope, objectives, and success criteriaDevelop stakeholder relationships within Operational Risk and with partners, as required Support the development and management of initiative timelines to ensure successful outcomesMonitor and evaluate progress of initiatives, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategiesCommunicate initiative updates, risks, milestones to stakeholders and senior leadershipFoster a culture of innovation and collaborationWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
7+ years of experience working in project management, transformation or a related fieldProven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentA bias for action, demonstrating agility and decisivenessExcellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsAbility to synthesize system information and business processes into clear impacts and benefits that are conveyed through learning, communication, and presentation materialsProficiency in creating high-quality executive presentations and reportsExceptional PowerPoint, storytelling, and communication skills (including facilitation in remote / virtual models)Nice-to-have
