Micron's Front End Procurement Operations Central Team (PROCT) is looking for a Senior Manager- Strategic Programs at our location in Boise, Idaho.
As a Senior Manager- Strategic Programs at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for leading global, cross-functional initiatives enabling projects that support PROCT and Company objectives.
Responsibilities
Align Goals and Objectives: Understand PROCT and Network goals, aligning them with company objectives. Prioritize and synchronize program project portfolios across departments and sites.Facilitate Projects: Drive program goals using standardized methods and metrics. Clearly outline project goals for each employee or department and their impact.Recruit and Mentor: Recruit subject matter authorities and team members. Mentor full-time and part-time project managers to enable success.Drive Accountability: Ensure accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, and effective project management.Improve Performance: Find opportunities for improvement in key performance indicators, leading teams to innovative solutions.Lead Global Initiatives: Lead global, cross-functional initiatives that support PROCT and company objectives. Act as a conduit between Micron Manufacturing and cross-functional projects.Develop Benchmarks: Establish benchmarks and frameworks to supervise project progress, risks, and changes. Share best known methods (BKM) for program and project success.Enhance Communication: Maintain strong relationships with peer groups and managers. Communicate and respond to issues in a timely manner. Provide well-documented updates on area issues and projects regularly.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree3 years semiconductor industry experience in Engineering Management, Senior Engineering, and/or Senior Project ManagementExtensive experience in leading projects and project teams, and proven track record in leadership, communication, and application of structured project methodologiesGives experienced technical knowledge to advance internal initiatives, adapts communication style for various purposes, and builds strong customer relationships to understand expectations.Demonstrates proficiency in creating executive-level presentations and performing data analysis, including excel reports, trends, and pivot tables.Preferred Qualifications
