Job Description

The NBCU Ad Sales Growth Strategy team is responsible for driving growth opportunities for Peacock, NBCU Streaming, and the wider sales organization. Acting as strategic consultants, this dynamic team supports Ad Sales and corporate stakeholders across a wide range of initiatives including long-term strategic planning, go-to-market strategies, business case development, sales optimization, and budget planning.

You will interface with business leaders across multiple functions, both inside and outside Ad Sales. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter to bring innovative thinking and strong analytical skills to help grow our business.

As an integral part of a blue-chip team with significant media experience, you will impact revenue growth across Peacock & the rest of the NBCUniversal portfolio by identifying, developing, and optimizing revenue generating strategies that drive monetization goals.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Formulating new growth strategies across Peacock & NBCU’s Ad Sales portfolioPartner with key stakeholders across Peacock / Media Group to develop growth strategies, evaluating ad sales rationale and long-term value.Support ideation & build-out of white-space analyses leveraging internal insights & competitive / marketplace trends to develop new ad products & platform opportunities.Elevate new business cases to executive audience to secure ‘green light’ for investment.Manage materials development & coordination for key recurring workstreams across Ad Sales / Peacock / Media GroupOptimizing NBCU’s streaming product strategy to maximize demand, while being responsive to marketplace conditions and the competitive landscape.Partner with ad sales business leaders and across functional teams to develop Upfront strategies for Streaming portfolio.Lead success tracking, elevating trends & insights that inform future strategies and recommendations for executive audience.Maintain strong ‘pulse’ with Sales team, formulating product enhancements & developing new products that solution for client objectives to drive new demandCoordinate strategy execution, including internal socialization and operationalization.Developing C-Suite presentations to recommend or inform on advertising strategy, performance, and new opportunities for growth and investment to Ad Sales leadership and/or corporate executives.Assist business leaders with analyses and presentation support as needed.Drive ad hoc requests with thoughtful, diligent analytics in coordination with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications4+ years previous relevant work experience; this could include media experience at a tech/network/streaming company, professional services (e.g., consulting, investment banking), or corporate strategy/finance.Must possess a passion for media and strong intellectual curiosity.Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills.Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to present results of complex analyses clearly.Excellent organizational, time and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently.BA/BS required.

Desired Characteristics:

Previous experience working with PowerPoint deliverables, ‘whitespace’ valuations & financial models. Consulting/Finance/Banking background strongly preferred.Passion for diving into complex concepts, defining value propositions, and collaborating with other business lines on long-term growth strategies.Ideal candidate is a proactive individual who possesses the ability to take initiative and perform analysis and other tasks with minimal supervision, including the ability to deal with competing priorities effectively, and work efficiently in a high-paced, results-oriented environment.Ability to develop strong relationships with across all levels of the organization.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Monday and Friday, virtual, and Tuesday - Thursday on-site in our NYC office.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible)
