Job Summary
This role is responsible championing and enabling corporate policy and reporting results regarding the inclusion of businesses owned, controlled and operated by ethnic minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with diabilities as well as small businesses (per US Small Business Administration). The Sr. Manager will also be for responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategic corporate social responsibility objectives and activities across the supply chain in support of Vistra’s sustainability strategy. This role is also a people leader, responsible for managing Supply Chain Diversity and Supply Chain Sustainability staff.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
•Strategic Initiatives – Introduce and direct corporate wide strategies and goals for the utilization and development of certified diverse and small businesses in accordance with Supply Chain objectives•Business Facilitation - Build relationships across the business to introduce alternative sources and achieve goals•Measurement & Tracking - Regularly Report results and receive direction from Board of Directors, C-Suite and Supply Chain Leadership•Industry Leadership & Outreach•Maintain Vista Reputation across Diversity and Energy Industry organizations•Promote Best practices•Stay ahead of regulatory requirements and affect industry standards •Regulatory Compliance – Maintain FAR and SBA expertise and foster relationships; generate required documents in timely manner•Team Development - Develop and retain Supply Chain Diversity team and extended team without direct report authorityEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•Minimum 10 years experience in the field of Supplier Diversity, Supply Chain or Compliance•Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)•Experience managing teams•Data analytics•Preferred professional certification(s) such as CPSM and CPSD•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skillsKey Metrics
