Job Description:   

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Manager to join our Greenville, TX team.  This position is responsible for leading a diverse team of engineers and scientist across multiple disciplines to achieve program and project execution milestones.  Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals.  Responsible for EAC, ETC management and overall yearly forecast performance of contract budgets. 

Essential Functions:

Manages diverse team of up to 20 Systems engineers across multiple disciplinesResponsible for the day-to-day operations within the program for assigned tasksLeads team in the execution of project activitiesProvides overall technical guidance and expertise to team members, assisting in resolving issues to ensure project executionIdentifies Roadblocks impacting team progress and provides guidance on potential resolutionsPerform routine performance evaluations to gauge individual performance and provide career guidance.Manages work/scope within the group to determine priorities in conjunction with Program management and Program Engineering (PMO)Must work on the facility with some limited flexibilityBusiness travel equates to approximately 10%

Job Qualification Requirements:  

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Strong background in systems engineering along with leadership experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Excellent written, oral, and team communication skills.Experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM)Test plan, Test procedure, Test report generation and creationExperience as Test DirectorMastery of systems engineering concepts and principlesDOORS/Jira experience
