ROLE SUMMARY:
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to many different areas of the corporate tax department, both domestic and international. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to tackle challenges and projects across diverse tax discipline (international, federal, state), and manage different workflows, including provision, compliance, as well as tax planning. The candidate will support the company’s US domestic and international tax compliance and reporting function.
The position will report to the Senior Director, Income Tax Strategy and will be based in Saint Louis, MO.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supporting federal and international reporting, both from a provision and compliance perspective.Liaise with colleagues across the globe to support data gathering process required for the monthly/quarterly/annual income tax provision calculations and estimates, monthly cash tax forecasts, and income tax and information complianceWork with outside consultants and advisors, as well as individuals from other departments within ABI; provide internal support to other ABI groups as neededWork with outside consultants and advisors to review and push to completion various federal and international forms and calculation, including SubPart F Income, GILTI, FDII, FTC estimateIdentify and analyze inter-company transactions of the Company and related parties for proper domestic and international reporting purposesLead the Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 withholding and reporting responsibilities of the Company, including form W-8 review and Form 1042 preparation and filingMaintain accurate carryover records of international tax attributesSupport tax controversy defense efforts around international tax itemsImprove existing processes with technology and automationLead special projects as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA or Advanced degree preferredMinimum 5 years of relevant experience with CPA firm, law firm, or large multi-national corporation
