We are now looking for the Manager of Vendor Management. You will be joining our on-site team based out of NVIDIA’s Corporate Office in Santa Clara, CA responsible for designing and leading all aspects of vendor onboarding and risk management for our vendor lifecycle management. You will define and run end to end processes surrounding our vendor onboarding, classification, risk escalation, controls and offboarding. The successful candidate will have deep exposure to conducting third party risk assessments on suppliers. Key coordination will be required with key business partners in operations, treasury, data center management and procurement to enable a smooth, transparent vendor management process.
This role is in person based in NVIDIA’s Santa Clara corporate campus.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and implement vendor management strategies, policies, and procedures
Build new and improve existing system processing of vendor life cycle management
Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal partners and external vendors
Evaluate vendor compliance and risk exposure both at onboarding and periodic evaluations
Perform detailed credit analysis of suppliers to mitigate financial risk
Resolve vendor onboarding issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner
Manage risk and controls throughout the onboarding process and through vendor life cycle
Identify and implement standard processes and opportunities for vendor onboarding optimization along with process acceleration and simplification
Design and implement new systems with ERP upgrades
Lead and develop a team of vendor management specialists globally
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
12+ overall years of experience in vendor management, contract management, or procurement
2+ years of people leadership experience
Strong knowledge of vendor management principles, practices, and tools
Strong controls mindset to evaluate and assess risks
Strong financial acumen and credit analytics expertise
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and vendor management software
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands on experience automating manual processes and streamlining and accelerating system workflow for vendor enablement in a growth environment
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment at a Fortune 100 company
Real passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes
Certification in vendor management, contract management, or procurement
Experience with Coupa SIMS and SAP is preferred

The base salary range is 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
