The Senior Manager, Wealth & Retirement Services will support the Director of Benefits and Wellness in strategy and development of new programs and other retirement initiatives. This role will be a highly visible role and require collaboration with the Benefits Team on the planning, design, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive benefits programs.
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
+ Responsible for administration of all retirement and wealth programs including defined contribution 401(k), deferred compensation, employee stock purchase, and other ancillary plans, ensuring the programs meet defined organizational service, quality/cost needs, and comply with legal requirements.
+ Ensure compliance with all federal and international disclosure and legal reporting requirements such as the summary annual report and summary of material modifications.
+ Manage benefit vendors, including contract renewals, RFPs, communications etc.
+ Assist in resolution of escalated benefit issues.
+ Maintain retirement and wealth benefit plan documentation including plan documents and policies.
+ Provide retirement plan oversight and fiduciary responsibilities for the U.S. 401(k), including annual audits and non-discrimination testing.
+ Maintain close working relationships with internal stakeholders, such as payroll, finance, legal, etc.
+ Maintains working knowledge of current trends, developments and legislation in the benefits field to make informed recommendations, changes and/or additions to the employee benefits program designs to best serve overall Company objectives.
+ Work closely with external consultants and vendors to conduct benchmark analysis, coordinate benefit administration and ensure services and programming are competitive and cost-effective.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree required
+ At least 6 years of retirement benefits program administration experience
+ Solid understanding of retirement plan principles (defined contribution and deferred compensation) and compliance requirements
+ Knowledge of legal reporting requirements such as 401(k) Audit, 5500s, Nondiscrimination testing
+ Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be a critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and quality assurance of work products
+ Intermediate Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot table etc.)
+ Workday experience a plus
+ Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative within established guidelines
+ Works well and collaborates with others in a team environment
+ The ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information
+ Excellent written, verbal, listening capabilities and attention to detail
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $125,500.00.
