Senior Manager, Workday HRIS

We’re rapidly expanding and we need great people to join our team. **The Senior Manager, HRIS oversees and manages the day-to-day analysis and optimization of the organization’s systems to improve overall organization performance. Evaluates, designs, and implements best practice business processes by developing strategy, initiating and leading the development, implementation, maintenance, process improvement, and administration associated with HR technology. Serves as the primary liaison between HR technology vendors, Information Technology (IT), and HR business areas.** **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary. + Oversees all HR technologies; identifies and evaluates process improvements to meet business requirements. + Develop and execute audit strategies to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security within the Workday system + Conduct regular audits of HR processes and data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. + Oversees the implementation of project management, system design and technical requirements, testing configuration, implementation of HR technology. + Collaborates and serves as the primary liaison between system vendors, IT, and business areas. + Manages the maintenance of HRIS security including definitions, setup, and testing. + Collaborates with IT in overseeing processes to ensure HR technology data integrity and security. Ensures appropriate and effective audit measures are in place. + Develops, manages, and maintains vendor relationships. + Serves in a consulting capacity on HR initiatives with technology component and provides insights on impacts of changes on system performance and other system workflows. + Collaborates with other members of the Human Resources team and corporate functions such as Finance, Compensation and Legal to develop best practices in cross functional collaboration and streamlined processes. + Stays informed of new functionality available within the HRIS system and drives the deployment of new feature releases. + Ensures desktop procedures are developed, maintained, and adhered to by the team. + Performs analytics to determine level of impact and use outcomes to prioritize projects. + Cultivates opportunities to improve team engagement and function, wherever possible. + Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion. + Design, develop, test, and deploy complex Workday Studio integrations, including EIBs, Connectors, and Web Services. + Maintain and update existing Studio integrations to meet evolving business needs. + Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday Studio features and best practices. + Lead and mentor a team of 5 HRIS analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. + Prioritize team workload and ensure timely completion of projects and tasks. **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:** + A/BS degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a closely related field required **OR** additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis + A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in HRIS (preferably Workday), with 7 years’ experience leading teams + Workday Pro certifications preferred, with heavy experince in multiple of the HCM modules like Advanced Compensation, Studio, Reporting, Dashboards, HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Benefits + Advanced level business acuity with deep understanding of how business and system processes impact each other + In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques, and methods + Ability to present project details to senior and executive leadership, as well as deliver informational sessions and business cases to groups and/or individuals + Ability to maintain detailed project plans and high-level milestones + Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of leadership + Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities related to large numbers of projects and initiatives, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals + Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions + Ability to develop and inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team + Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures related to HR technologies + Software skills, including use of software and web-based applications (ex. Monday.com) + Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus other database and presentation software + Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time + Spoken and written fluency in English + This position requires the use and exercise of independent judgement We’re ChenMed and we’re transforming healthcare for seniors and changing America’s healthcare for the better.
