The Mission of the Role
This role is responsible for leading the global strategy and operational execution of Display commodity management for LCD including TFT technology, BLU, Optical lens. As a key leader within the procurement organization, you will drive cost optimization, foster innovation, and ensure the global network of high performing and innovative partners/suppliers who supports Visteon’s growth objectives and product quality standards. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to influence long-term business strategy, engage with key stakeholders, and cultivate strategic relationships with display suppliers to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Objectives of the Role
The Leader will oversee procurement activities for display direct materials from external manufacturers and distributors, focusing on global strategies for cost, quality, innovation, and relationship management. You will lead a global team responsible for supplier performance, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Global Commodity Leadership: Set and drive the vision for the Display (FOG, BLU and lens) commodity strategy to deliver maximum competitive advantage.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Negotiation & Contracts: Lead high-level negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal cost savings and alignment with corporate objectives. Negotiate complex global contracts that meet both short-term and long-term procurement goals.
• Supplier Strategy & Innovation: Develop and execute comprehensive supplier management strategies, including benchmarking, rationalization, and development of critical suppliers. Foster innovation by partnering with suppliers on new technology development.
• Risk & Cost Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks while driving cost reduction through advanced procurement techniques and strategies.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Manage and mentor a high-performing global team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Develop future leaders and encourage a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with global engineering, program management, and product teams to ensure alignment between display strategy and product development initiatives.

• Annual cost reduction and PPV targets.
• Strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Successful implementation of global supply chain strategies.
• Innovation pipeline contributions through supplier partnerships.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive LCD and TFT technology commodity strategy.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders globally.
• Achieve annual procurement and performance KPIs in alignment with corporate goals.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in global procurement, supply chain management, or display sales/FAE with a track record of success in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of the display industry, including supplier ecosystems, technology trends, and component sourcing is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead within a complex, global business environment.
• Proven experience negotiating large-scale contracts and managing supplier relationships at the executive level.
• Expertise in cost analysis, sourcing strategies, and supplier development within the display sector.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on driving innovation and cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
• Experience in managing and developing diverse, high-performing teams.
