JOB SUMMARY
The role of the individual would be to partner with the finance, marketing and sales teams responsible for drive growth of brands as well as all analytics and forecasting requirements. This is a critical role as this individual would be our contact point with all the internal teams as well as area analytics and will strive to drive fact backed decisions. The individual is required to:
Forecast the categories and offtake monthly in a rolling forecasting cycle which happens four times a year.Should be able to build models (regression models building is a must), Employ coding softwares/ tools to use to build models which enable better forecasting/ triangulationProactively identify category and larger market trends which are happening and look at how they can impact our category forecastsTriangulating our external sources with internal sales (Nielsen, Kantar world panel) to monthly identify opportunities and present this in commercial reviewsFind opportunities to further lead analytics work eg promotion analysis/ SKU analysis etc which can provide growth opportunities Work with our Area team wrt to area lead analytics projectsUse and further train internal teams on our internal tools eg Power BI tool for shareCORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Research- Reporting/ Analytics :Work closely with finance and marketing to forecast the category and our offtakes and then triangulate with internal sales for deriving monthly share projections, all India, channel level, zone levelDrive data based insights monthly to drive business growth by identifying problems/ opportunities as presented in Nielsen/ KWP dataSupport the ROI measurement and pricing studies done using Market Mix models by external agenciesWork closely with the research counterpart to bring together an integrated research insights and analytics view for the various brands at a monthly/ quarterly levelDevelop models which can enhance our forecasting abilities Closely monitor competitive activities to enable fast action by teams Closely work with PA regional team on all regional analytics MI requirements for India. Back up understanding from data by doing actual field visits to validate / enhance insights Triangulation of internal and external metrics Develop Eun read channels reporting and integrate with read channelsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Agency analytics experience is a mustStrong business analysis skills: Ability to triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources and come up with clear conclusions. Should have extensively used Nielsen data and working knowledge of Kantar world panel dataWorked in matrix organizationsWell versed and super user of excel, user of python and power BI toolsExposure to analytics techniques like Market Mix models, Pricing studiesMINIMUM LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION
