Overview This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA. Typical in-office schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with Mondays and Fridays being virtual. Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring an Inventory Accounting Senior Manager! Reporting to the Director of Inventory, this position is responsible for managing the Inventory Audit and Control teams for both stores and distribution centers. These two teams two teams are made up of 15 employees that are both exempt and non-exempt staff. This position oversees all aspects of store and warehouse shortage reporting, recording of financial shortage and accruals, audit reviews and finalization, etc. You will work closely with the Field Audit team and Store Operations to accurately and timely adjust inventory, finalize audits, communicate with stores, etc. You will interact regularly with the Supply Chain Inventory Control team for shortage projections and issue resolution. You will also interface with the GTS team for inventory related projects and initiatives. FL Corporate Office - Camp Hill 3543 Simpson Ferry Road Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011 Responsibilities Manage distribution center shortage projection, reporting, and inventory audit reconciliation and finalization process. Review and manage the processing of distribution center cycle count updates for both units and financial. Manage the store shortage reporting and accrual process. Manage the review and finalization of all store inventory audits. Ensure all assigned Inventory G/L balance sheet account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. Review and approve all assigned Inventory G/L balance sheet account reconciliations and all required analytical variance explanations in Blackline. Actively participate in all inventory related projects, ensuring financial integrity is maintained. Provide support to Field and Store operations, Store Managers, and Supply Chain team related to inventory inquiries. Ensure inventory systems are reconciled timely and accurately and any variances are within our approved tolerances. (Systems include WMS, CRS, CIS, and CI) Lead multi-functional knowledge project groups, as needed, to ensure understanding of issues and identify key areas to resolve issues. Maintain appropriate internal control documentation, as applicable, and adhere to formally documented control procedures to ensure on-going compliance with SOX controls to prevent any deficiencies. Provide timely and accurate responses to Internal Control and KPMG requests. Ensure deadlines are met through timely and accurate work to achieve a smooth closing process. Oversee, review, and approve inventory adjustments, minimizing these where appropriate. Prepare and manage presentation of well-supported financial analysis reports. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Manage and develop departmental managers, staff accountants, and non-exempt staff. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Audit experience preferred Minimum of 5 years of people managing and related functional experience Must be able to hold the team accountable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Access) Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and running PeopleSoft queries Strong analytical and problem solving skills Must be able to analyze data, make observations, and communicate findings Excellent communication skills Must be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executives Experience working on cross functional teams, multitasking, and managing time independently with little direction Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectives Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines Must be able to commit to additional hours during heavy accounting deadlines #LI-JJ1 #LI-HYBRID Benefits The annual base salary range is $100000 - $120000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
