Position Summary:

Reporting the Director of Retail Systems, North America. The Sr. Manager of Retail Systems, Project Management oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects, often managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on resource allocation, budget control, and meeting deadlines, while also mentoring and coaching within the team.

Responsible for leading Program and Project Managers both contract and full-time employees along with Business analysts in maintaining and delivering functionality and technology solutions to our stores across North America, supporting the organization’s portfolio of Retail Systems.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that Retail Systems projects meet business requirements, objectives and deliverables Retail Systems projects include, but are not limited to: Store POS, Payment terminals, Loyalty, Security and Systems integration solutionsTake the lead in ensuring that the project has effective processes in place to identify, monitor and resolve issues and risksResponsible for the delivery of medium to large scale business project/programs often representing cross-organizational initiativesDefine the overall objectives and key deliverables for the program/projectWork effectively with business partners, vendors, technology and project management office to develop the project agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of project objectives/deliverables by all affected stakeholdersIdentify project resource requirements and align with plan sponsors to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver project commitmentsAnalyze project performance (relative to timelines and dependencies) and implement corrective actions to keep project on track and within budgetLead the delivery of medium to large scope project initiatives that involve obtaining agreement/adoption of project objectives and deliverables by key sponsorsAct as a role model for PM professionalism, critical thinking and setting productivity pace promoting a financial focus with emphasis on business value metricsManage internal external resourcesManage the operational and capital budget for the Retail Systems in US

Qualifications

Experienced at building effective relationship and strong partnerships across the organizationStrong leadership and management capabilitiesKnowledge of Jira, Workfront, Confluence, Excel and other Project Management Software ToolsSAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification preferredAnalytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work dayStrong knowledge of Excel and highly skilled in PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio preferred6+ years of work experience, including at least 4 years project management experience with at least 2 years managing Supply Chain projects (not pure technology deployments)Demonstrated ability to design and execute plans, and to ensure success on all projects through proven track record of applying proven methods and tools to enterprise-wide project implementationsKnowledge of Retail stores systems (POS, Payments) preferredFinancial management experienceExcellent listening and interpersonal skills.Strong customer-service orientation.Keen attention to detail.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or 6+ years equivalent work experience
