TRS Middle East is working with a prominent distributor of high-grade specialty ingredients, serving various sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial chemicals across the Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement business strategies for the group, including a three-year plan for customers, suppliers, and products within the first quarter. Drive new business development to achieve sales and margin targets, while ensuring monthly budgets are met through effective ERP reporting. Oversee logistics for trading activities and ensure compliance with credit control policies, QHSE standards, and legal regulations. Provide regular sales analysis to management, update sales prospectuses in the CRM, and identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. At least 15 years of experience in bulk commodity chemical trading, specifically in industrial chemicals, detergents, plastics, polymers, and food products. Extensive knowledge of the Middle East market; familiarity with the African market is a plus. Previous experience in a Senior Manager, General Manager, or Chemical Engineer role is required.
