Key Responsibilities:Directs the activity of flight attendant scheduling at the system Operations Control Center. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Inflight Crew Scheduling functions, with enhanced focus on organization hiring/retention strategy, operation/training continuity, and vendor sustainability.
Lead and execute change management strategies within an operational environmentResponsible for the planning and control of all crew scheduling functionsCoordinates and communicates with other operating groups within the NOCEnsures contractual interpretations and scheduling practices are administered consistently and cost effectivelyAdministers policies, systems, cost management, staffing and business procedures consistent with company and government regulations and flight attendant union agreementsMonitors performance against forecast and initiates action to control adverse trendsLeads a team of scheduling shift supervisors, senior schedulers and schedulersDevelops employees and encourages positive employee engagementFunctions as a liaison with bases and other departments with the NOC, fostering open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional working relationshipsMaintains productive relationships with the flight attendant union representatives, and gains clarity on agreements to provide long term solutions to problemsUnited values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply.
