Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director-Inventory Management Strategy, the Senior Manager-Inventory Management manages the team responsible for provisioning and required planning of materials, expendable parts and rotable components to support the maintenance operation fleets and cabins. The Senior Manager is accountable for controls of inventory investment (OEM or PMA) and maintaining optimal inventory levels to adequately support line maintenance, airframe overhaul, base maintenance, aircraft modification activities, and cabin provisioning.

Leads team responsible for planning all materials delivered by the supply chain to its customersCollaborates with various collaborators across Company, including Technical Operations, Marketing and InflightLeads team responsible for making daily strategic adjustments to station inventory levels for rotable and expendable inventory assets and cabin provisioning itemsResponsible for monitoring status of replenishment orders for cabin provisioning and ensuring product arrives at distribution points at the right time to prevent shortagesResponsible for cabin provisioning shipments, budget and resource planning for third-party vendorsCoordinates with business partners in Technical Services and Procurement

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree or related experienceFive (5) years of experience leading procurement activities, material requirements planning, supply chain, expediting, or similar experienceAble to lead and direct a multidisciplinary teamComprehensive understanding of material logistics and supply chain managementStrong leadership, coaching and communication skillsSelf-motivated and engrained continuous improvement experienceStrategic thinker with experience implementing innovative solutionsStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple and contending prioritiesStrong people skills and ability to develop internal and external relationshipsWorking knowledge of SQL or other data query languageAble to travel regularly (up to 30%) across the networkMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Master’s degreeLean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certificationAirline, aviation or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experienceExperience leading peopleExperience handling budgetsFormal instruction in Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement methodologiesExperience with SAS statistical analysis
