Join us and we can make a difference together. **About this role** **HVAC Global Operations (Commercial and Residential) North America** is seeking a skilled and experienced **Senior Manager** to join our **HVAC Aftermarket Planning team in Syracuse NY** . The **Senior Manager** is responsible for leading the planning team which focuses on both the material planning and procurement activities to ensure the seamless flow of materials to meet customer demand. **The Senior Manager** should have a strong background in supply chain management, experience in defining material planning and inventory strategies, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively, and possess strong people leadership skills. This is a **hybrid role** in **Syracuse NY** . Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, and promote a collaborative and high-performing culture. + **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement robust strategies for effective material management and purchasing activities. Ensure the seamless integration of supply chain processes to meet the aftermarket objectives. + **Inventory Management:** Define appropriate inventory levels to balance supply/demand effectively, reducing excess stock and ensuring availability. Implement strategies for optimal inventory turnover. + **Collaboration** : Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to guarantee the timely and accurate availability of materials. Build strong relationships to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication. + **Process Improvement** : Continuously evaluate and improve processes and systems to achieve better efficiency and performance. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that streamline operations and boost productivity. + **ERP Systems Management:** Ensure the proper functioning of ERP systems, utilizing them to their full potential for efficient material planning and inventory control. **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree + 7+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain management + 2+ years of managing a team **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration + Master’s degree in supply chain management + Certification in APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or similar + Proficiency in material planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE + Experience with international sourcing and procurement + Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions + Leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams + English communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills + Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Work experience with a focus on aftermarket services **Additional information:** + This position doesn’t support immigration sponsorship.
