Senior Manager/Associate Director, Marketing Analytics

**General Description:**
The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Marketing Analytics will predominantly be focused on marketing data analytics to inform marketing strategies and campaign optimization strategies to ensure successful commercialization of BeiGene’s products. As a secondary responsibility, this role would also support Medical Affairs Analytics. This role may also evolve to take on global (ex-China) activities and will serve as a primary point of contact between many project teams and stakeholders around managing and enhancing our BeiGene’s marketing initiatives. This role will be part of a growing multifaceted analytics team that develops advanced analytics solutions. Specific examples of key responsibilities include but are not limited to transform marketing analytics with a focus on multivariate marketing analytics capabilities, own BeiGene’s Customer360 offering, implementing industry leading marketing performance measurement, continuously monitor and track key marketing performance metrics for programs, and campaigns.
**Essential Functions of the job:**
+ **Strategic Analytics:**
+ Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support oncology product launches, market penetration, and brand positioning.
+ Translate data into insights and stories which drive change in marketing strategy and tactics.
+ **Campaign Analytics**
+ Lead test/control analyses for various campaigns
+ Build coordinated recommendations on marketing’s ability to generate positive results across products and measure effectiveness of all marketing programs.
+ Analyze key marketing channels / tactics / campaigns to assess what is driving the best outcomes and how to replicate it.
+ Identify key markers of effectiveness for marketing campaigns and educational activities and own and drive design of internal marketing dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
+ Own BeiGene’s Customer 360 (KTC) platform, including ideating and planning future enhancements to the platform.
+ **Promotional Effectiveness:**
+ Lead semi-annual marketing mix analyses using multi-variate techniques for multiple brands
+ Lead the design and execution of Field Engagement Effectiveness measurement across Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Medical Affairs teams.
+ Own the execution of other advanced techniques like Multi-Touch Attribution etc. to explain the promotional dynamics.
+ Be an expert in various advanced analytics techniques; be on the cutting edge and the go to person for advanced marketing analytics.
+ Collaborate with marketing and cross functional partners to craft differentiated marketing analytical solutions and services that transform the business.
+ Develop strategy and tactical solutions for advanced analytics capabilities that ensure marketing is making data-driven decisions.
+ **Change Management**
+ Establish your role as the key champion to drive business improvements to help the marketing team unlock their contribution to sales.
+ Use a holistic view of data assets to deliver a compelling enterprise vision for how advanced analytics can contribute to documenting how marketing efforts deliver critical corporate KPIs.
+ Evangelize Analytics driven decision making across Marketing and Global Medical Affairs (GMA).
**Required Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Marketing, Engineering or a related field as outlined in the essential duties.
**Qualifications:**
**For the Senior Manager level, we require a BS with 7 plus years of overall experience.**
**For the Associate Director level, we require a BS with 8 plus years of overall experience.**
**For both levels, we require the following unless highlighted as a plus.**
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Marketing, Engineering or a related field as outlined in the essential duties.
+ 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics or advanced analytics.
+ 4+ years of experience with data segmentation and reporting within a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation system.
+ 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or digital marketing in a related industry as outlined in the essential duties.
+ 4+ years of experience with collaborating effectively with sales and/or marketing leaders and leading by influence.
+ 5+ years of experience across marketing, business intelligence, and other analytics domains.
+ This role requires hands-on experience with SQL, Python/R.
+ Experience working with low code/no code platforms (Dataiku / Alteryx) and with reporting platforms (Tableau/PowerBI) would be a plus.
+ Demonstrated ability to apply effective influencing skills, a strong executive presence, and credibility to communicate the value of data-driven marketing insights across the organization.
+ Proficiency with data visualization tools.

+ Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, SQL and Python/R for data analytics.
**Travel:** 15-20%
Please note the salary range listed below is for the Associate Director level. For candidates considered for the Senior Manager level the range will be lower.
