Senior Manager - Commercial Property Finance - NSW

ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is seeking a Senior Manager – Commercial Property Finance to join our Business Banking division to drive business growth and manage  a portfolio of high performing clients in addition to originating  new business across NSW.

Working within a portfolio team environment you will be responsible for the recommendation and implementation of a lending strategy for your portfolio and the responsible management of our CPF customers.
 

You’ll be tasked with generating new business via new to Bank and existing customers, in addition to focusing on customer retention. As part of your skillset, you’ll be able to make assessments that adhere to the credit policy and underwriting guidelines whilst also displaying strong financial acumen and strong negotiation skills .

2025 will be a huge year for ING Business Banking and this is a key role in a high performing, experience team.

What you’ll do

Recommendation and the implementation of a lending strategy for the portfolio Sourcing clients/deals within the Corporate & Commercial Property Markets of Australia to provide finance for commercial property transactions – with a focus on the NSW market, on an end to end basis Ensuring profitable business development & asset growth, providing CPF diversification by location and asset class Responsibility for maintenance of an active & high-performance existing lending portfolio whilst keeping abreast of latest market trends/opportunities/threatsProvide guidance and market intel in respect to trends and challenges in the Australasian Property Market to National Head of Commercial Property Finance and key internal stakeholders – with a focus on NSWAdherence to credit policy & underwriting guidelines

What we’re looking for

5-10 years direct management/responsibility of a property portfolio at another bank, property financier Preexisting client/broker network in the commercial property market of NSWMeeting and exceeding personal annual & longer-term asset growth & profitability targets.Managing, leading & mentoring staff.Proven performer in building networks and a client portfolio
