Our IT – Infrastructure team plays a key role in ensuring that technology supports the services required and to provide exceptional customer experiences. The Sr. Manager of Conferencing and Event Technology will be an integral part of the IT Infrastructure department, specifically supporting our Conference and Event Technology Service Line. This role will collaborate closely with our world-class Event team and internal IT teams to deliver seamless and impactful conferencing and event experiences. As the Senior Manager of Conferencing and Event Technology, you will serve as the subject matter expert, leading strategies to identify, create, and implement innovative solutions for meeting and event technologies. Your goal will be to optimize these technologies to enhance the attendee experience and elevate event planner satisfaction. This role will drive exceptional strategic and operational outcomes by leveraging their extensive experience in selecting and deploying technologies that meet needs, ensuring consistent and high-quality experiences, and by leading a motivated, high-performing team.How You Will ContributeLead the end-to-end strategy, implementation, and optimization of conferencing and event technologies to deliver seamless attendee experiences Oversee the lifecycle management of event technology platforms, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning Ensure optimal performance and compatibility of integrated systems such as Crestron, QSC, Microsoft Teams and other AV solutionsDevelop and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to minimize downtime and maintain device health across event platforms Manage hybrid event technology operations, ensuring seamless integration of in-person and virtual components for a unified experience Collaborate with internal IT teams, event planners, and external vendors to align technology solutions with organizational goals and event requirements Provide tiered escalation support for incident management related to conferencing and event technologies Lead the design, configuration, and installation of new event technology setups to meet evolving business needs Deliver training sessions for staff on leveraging conferencing tools and troubleshooting best practices Act as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships, ensuring service delivery aligns with SLAs and organizational expectations Establish policies for meeting platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams) to ensure secure usage while meeting organizational standards Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR platforms, AI tools) to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction Collect and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve the attendee experience and refine technology strategies Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards in all conferencing and event technology implementations What You Will Bring5+ years of experience managing conferencing or event technologies in a corporate or large-scale event environment Expertise in hybrid event models, including virtual platform integration with physical venues Proven experience with Crestron systems, Microsoft Teams administration, and AV technologies such as QSC or similar platforms Strong understanding of IT service management tools (eg, ServiceNow) and ITIL frameworks Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts effectively Familiarity with emerging technologies like AR/VR solutions or AI-driven engagement tools is a plus Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments Strong analytical skills to measure ROI on technology investments and improve operational efficiency What We Offer Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,300 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges.Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents.Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive.Our Values: Working at Stand Together is different from many other organizations.
