Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s People & Property Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Manager - Construction Planning & Management.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the planning and implementation of construction projects across the US].

Reporting to the Group Manager, the person in this role will support the People & Property Service’s department's objective to safely complete construction projects with high quality, on-time and within the budget.

What you’ll be doing

Create, promote and oversee the strategic implementation of construction projects across North AmericaManage and lead cross-functional projects of varied sizes and types concurrently and drive projects through to completion.Manage the establishment, monitoring & modifications of contracts for various business partners and systems with clear SOWs.  Monitor and oversee performance based on established KPIs which are linked to SOWs.Identify problems and work to resolve without impacting safety, budget, schedule or scope.Manage the annual capital budget process – creation, project prioritization, monitoring and report out

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, facility management or related fieldExperience in design, construction or facility maintenanceProven working knowledge of principles, policies, practices and all legal-related contracts relating to project management and construction services.Proven working knowledge of building design and construction including greenfield, brownfield and tenant improvement projects, including permitting and owner/developer responsibilitiesStrong communication, customer engagement, financial analysis and negotiation skillsExperience in creating all-inclusive project budgets, including an understanding of regional & situational differences/impacts.Ability to analyze data and create presentations and present information to all stakeholdersThis position requires driving.  A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position

Proven working knowledge of building and infrastructure systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, security, and telecommunications/data supportExperience in situational problem-solving.Understanding of capital & expense budget preparation, planning, forecasting, and ROI analysis.OSHA 30 safety training
