In this role, we’re looking for a brand journalist and content marketer. Someone who can help shape our stories and build content that shares the messages we want to be known for.

We build integrated campaigns using articles, case studies, research reports, blogs, social posts, and more that tell a joined-up compelling story. Our content must reflect the needs of our core audiences, strengthen their perception of Genpact, and encourage them to get in touch.

Responsibilities

How we’ll put your content skills and experience to work

o Working with our integrated marketing leads, portfolio marketing leads, and subject-matter experts (SMEs), help build and deliver our content calendar that supports the go-to-market plans for our consumer goods and retail (CGR) business

o Support the content needs for our DEI and CSR teams to highlight the work they do within the company and with our communities

o Create content that reflects Genpact’s core themes for the CGR market and our overarching messaging framework

o Lead by example in upholding our tone of voice and writing style. Help train the business in our style of communication

What you’ll be working on

o Execute your content calendar with the solutions marketing, integrated marketing, social, and communications teams working alongside Genpact Studios (our design team):

• Write and/or manage SEO-friendly thought leadership with third parties, external writers, editors, and designers

• Edit contributions from the business and the marketing team to reflect Genpact messaging and tone of voice – such as written content, presentations, etc.

• Script, storyboard, and work with agencies to create animations/talking head/manifesto videos. Storyboard and work with designers on infographics and interactive content

• Create copy for integrated marketing campaigns, including email copy, social media posts, digital ads, and event abstracts/presentations

• Provide messaging, content, and talking points/scripts for events

• Find stories and strong messages from survey data/secondary research and client events to turn into thought leadership

• Ensure compliance with our brand, tone of voice, writing style, and messaging

• Repurpose existing content to engage different target audiences

• Support sales enablement activities

Analyze and act

o Review and act on content performance data to improve existing and future thought leadership and achieve greater engagement with our target audiences

Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications / Skills

· Excellent command of English, strong writing skills, and experience in B2B communications (in-house or agency), freelance writer, journalist, brand, industry business analyst, or management consulting

· Experience of working in marketing teams and with content strategy. The ability to plan and create content that builds awareness or generates demand (including outbound, inbound, events, sales enablement, etc.)

· A good understanding of the key issues facing global CGR companies and how they’re addressing them. Plus, the technologies in play and benefits they bring

· An expert in writing and editing content for senior exec audiences using multiple sources (interviews, research, presentations, etc.)

· Experience in SEO and writing for SEO

· Knowledge of engaging content formats. Interactive content in particular

· Good stakeholder management, especially with senior business partners and clients, and collaboration skills across a global marketing team

· Strong copywriting skills, for email campaigns, webpages/landing pages, brochures, social media

· Robust editing skills to turn content written by the business/subject-matter experts into quality thought leadership

· Skilled in storyboarding and editing visual content like videos, infographics, presentations, etc.

· Ability to research and gather reliable data and information to use in content

· Ability to demonstrate the value and impact of content marketing/engagement through metrics

· Inquisitive, analytical (data-driven), logical, structured, and accountable

· Intellectually curious, creative, and market oriented

· Strong project management and coordination skills

· Ability to communicate effectively across cultures

· Attention to detail

Preferred qualifications/skills

· Writing paid search ads

· Proficient in using social and online channels for promoting thought leadership, Genpact, and our SMEs

· Experience in engaging the sales force to use and promote content

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
