The Senior Manager - Contract Administration will be responsible for:
· Developing and implementing contract administration strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of contracts.
· Overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation and execution to amendments and closeout.
· Leading a team of contract administrators and providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
· Collaborating with legal and procurement teams to review and analyze contract terms and conditions.
· Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing any deviations or disputes that may arise.
· Monitoring and evaluating contract performance and identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
· Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
· Preparing regular reports and presentations on contract administration activities and outcomes for senior leadership.
· Remaining updated on industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to contract administration.
Education Qualification
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
· Master's degree or relevant post-graduate qualifications are highly desirable.
Certification Required
· Professional certification in contract management or a related field is preferred.
Experience
· Minimum 15 years of experience in contract administration within the coal mining industry.
· Demonstrated track record of successful management and oversight of complex contracts.
