Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned individual to join our Analytics team as a BI / Data Visualization Developer, reporting to the Director of Analytics. As a key member of McAfee’s data team, you will be responsible for data visualization and reporting for the company

This role requires a deep understanding of:
· Data visualization
· Data analysis
· Reporting development

This is a Remote position located in Canada. We are only considering candidates located in Canada and are not providing relocation at this time.

About the role:

Design and develop reports (dashboards and general visualizations) of KPIs and metrics based on business need and stakeholder feedbackCollaborate with Data Stewards and Data Curation Engineer to prepare data for visualization and ensure data qualityInterpret data model and identifies and develops queries to pull required data for reportingMonitor data in reporting and reporting systemsUtilize curated data in dashboards to support aligned metric reportingUnderstand UI/UX best practices to inform stakeholder engagement, KPI or metric documentation, and dashboard design

About you: 

Bring 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reportingHold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, economics, or related fieldHave hands-on experience with and understanding of the following:PowerBI, Tableau, and/or similar visualization toolsBusiness analysis(Domain) experienceExploratory data analysisUI/UX developmentSQL/SparkSQLVersion control
