Job Description

As a DevOps Manager, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You’ll have the unique opportunity to increase the engineering team productivity by developing and overseeing the database architecture, design, and operations within the products of some of the world’s largest brands.

Your Impact:

Develop and administer databases, and work with business stakeholders to define conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsImplement physical data models and maintain the data dictionaryUpgrade and maintain various application databases to support requirement changesMonitor database operations to ensure properly set configuration optionsPlan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to database environmentsEstablish and implement database policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with information systems objectivesLead or participate in the development of feasibility studies, designs, and operations support plansDevelop technical requirements and identify solutions to meet the technical requirementsUse agile and traditional data modeling techniques to elaborate and clarify project requirementsProactively report on progress, risks, and issuesIdentify relevant data standards and federal regulatory requirements; configure the database to comply with those requirementsDevelop and review project documentationMaintain system knowledge baseSupport the installation and testing of database servicesRestore database and application operations under planned or unplanned service disruptionDesign and implement reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS, Tableau, etc.

Qualifications3-5 years hands on experience with writing AWS IaC, SCPs, managed IAM Policy … hands-on approach, delivering codeAWS Cloud Landing ZoneAWS CertificationEngineering mindset, being pragmatic in finding how to debug and testCommunication skills, able to articulate risk, blockers, and remediation plans.Work alongside architects and development teams to create cloud infrastructure that fulfills scalability, performance, security, and availability requirements.Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to deploy cloud infrastructure, ensuring deployments are consistent and repeatable.Set up and configure essential cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, databases, networking components, and other resources necessary for application deployment.Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows, streamlining the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.Establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.Implement best practices for security, access controls, and compliance measures to protect data and resources within the cloud environment.Optimize cloud infrastructure to handle varying workloads, ensuring it performs optimally and responds efficiently.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $108,000 - $210,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
