1.0 Plan and ensure completion of electrical preventive and predictive maintenance activities of Electrical utilities

Plan and allocate manpower for shift operation and general shift. Monitor and allocate contract manpower in shifts/areas Conduct daily toolbox talk with Electrical manpower for safe work Ensure daily visit to plant and find out abnormalities and take actions to rectify them to avoid breakdowns Ensure prompt response to electrical breakdown maintenance activities and restore the equipment Implement best practices related to predictive, preventive maintenance of electrical & instrumentation equipment and power saving Develop and implement an effective breakdown root cause investigation system. Utilize the same for making and implementing corrective / preventive action plans.

 

2.0 Manage and control inventory costs of electrical spare parts and consumables within budget

Plan and procure electrical spare parts and consumables by timely PR creation for materials/service Ensure all vendor-related billing according to supply/services Manage energy resources effectively Manage electricity distribution network in the mine and CHP plant. Manage lighting in the offices Monitor energy consumption daily. Analyze energy consumption trends and identify the areas for energy saving and implement the same Monitoring and maintain power factor >0.90 in each substation and ensure working of automatic power factor correction panel Conduct energy audit as per statutory requirements Process and Payment of electricity bills

3.0 Manage all electrical maintenance with zero unsafe incidents

Ensure adherence to safety norms by employees by following all maintenance SOPs and safety SOPs Monitoring the work completion for PTW and SOP norms Implementation of LOTO Ensure Weekly compliance of Safety interaction SRFA / Gensuite reporting. At least 8 / month Conduct Job Safety Analysis and take measures to minimize the risk

4.0 Prepare scope document, estimation for new projects. Ensure execution and monitoring of Capex projects

5.0 Identify and implement projects in Automation/productivity enhancement/cost reduction in E&I areas

6.0 Ensure sustenance of IMS certification without any NC

7.0 Ensure effective liaison with CSPDCL, CSPTCL, DGMS, CEI, weight and measures dept, and other govt bodies related to power / electrical and instrumentation equipment, resolve any issues related to the same in sync with corporate affairs

8.0 Motivate employees through coaching, recognition, and performance management

9.0 Maintain power infra in railway siding

10. Ensure continuous training and development of the team in sync with HR

 

Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration (preferred) Experience Minimum of 14 years of experience Proven track record in managing E&I projects Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
