Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Create and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes and standards. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans. Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and gather data for new designs. Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects. Prepare and maintain documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and reports. Participate in project meetings and provide input on electrical design aspects. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical equipment. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary materials. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the project lifecycle. Ensure that all designs are cost-effective and meet project budgets. Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors. Mentor and guide junior designers and engineers in best practices and technical skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience as an Electrical Designer or in a similar role.
