In this vital role you will be responsible for a team of internal and external engineering project management, construction, and industry trade partners to deliver a portfolio of capital projects at the Amgen North Carolina Campus. May serve as the project manager for business-critical projects. + Establishing safety culture and demonstrating safety by example + Selecting and retaining high performing project management and execution professionals + Determining project objectives, consistent with company priorities and policies + Supporting project teams through design, procurement, construction, and Commissioning & Qualification + Preparing project funding documents with scope, cash flow, schedule, and deliverables + Leading contract partner evaluation and selection process + Reviewing and approving cost estimates and establishing check and balance system. + Integrating complete team into planning and design reviews for projects + Establishes policies for major projects, interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company-wide policies. **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The vibrant professional we seek is an individual with these qualifications. **Basic Qualifications:** + High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience OR + Associate’s degree and 10 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience OR + Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience OR + Master’s degree and 6 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience OR + Doctorate degree and 2 years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience + In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources.
