The SFS Business Model Innovation Team as part of the newly established SFS Innovation Hub is looking for a Senior Manager (f/m/d) - Business Model Innovation that will actively take part in shaping the digitalization and innovation journey of SFS (Siemens Financial Services).
As part of the central Strategic Development department, the Innovation Hub consists out of two exceptional teams ("Discovery Lab" and "Business Model Innovation"). Together, they are at the forefront of incubating new business models, exploring ground breaking technologies and acting as strategic advisor for the SFS Senior Management.

Your key responsibilities. Platform Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the SFS platform strategy, with a focus on the Siemens Xcelerator platform.Innovative Financing Solutions: Collaborate closely with SFS Business Units and regional teams to develop, implement, and scale innovative financing solutions.Business Model Development: Identify, evaluate, and implement new business models and their corresponding business plans, with a special focus on (IoT) data-driven and sustainable solutions.Artificial Intelligence: Identify, validate, and implement potential (Gen) AI use cases in collaboration with SFS Business Units and the Discovery Lab.Trend Scouting: Scout and validate new trends and technologies (e.g., Digital Twins, Industrial Metaverse) and derive strategic recommendations. This involves understanding and incorporating relevant developments in the FinTech market and among Siemens’ competitors.Innovation Activities: Plan and orchestrate innovation formats and challenges with internal and external partners (e.g., universities, research institutes, innovation programmes, etc.).Ad Hoc Requests: Independently respond to ad hoc requests and audits from Senior Management, developing high-quality analyses and actionable recommendations.
Your toolkit for success.Degree or equivalent experience in Business with focus on finance, financial mathematics or business informatics. MBA or CFA qualification is helpfulAt least 5 years of work experience in a financial services company, a consulting company with focus on financial services, or an industrial company with a strong (commercial) sales and strategy background as well as experience in the development of new business modelsExperience in leading complex, international projects with interdisciplinary teams and in communication with Senior Management. Moreover, you gained experience working together with foreign entities and diverse culturesProficient analytical skills, a proactive and structured working style, and profound experience in moderating workshops. Methodological know-how with regards to design thinking is a plusYou are a standout colleague, and you are able to optimally handle diverse collaborators in an empathic mannerYou are enthusiastic, curious, and quickly understand trends and new technologies that contribute to SFSHighly proficient German and English skills
