Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Assessments and Consulting Services (GACS) is a core member of the GACS AsPac leadership team reporting directly to the Director, GACS AsPac. The Senior Manager partners with the Director, GACS to develop the strategy and drive implementation of the annual GACS plan for AsPac. The Senior Manager is responsible for executing a portfolio of services to identify, mitigate, and manage HCC risk including the execution of the annual assessment plan, management action plan pre-closure effectiveness checks, and consulting activities. The role requires an influential and strategic leader with a focus on continuous improvement, vigilance and the development of innovative approaches to assist the leadership team to assess risk areas due to emerging new business models and changes in the regulatory environment and associated requirements.

[Main responsibilities]

Execute on annual plan completing assessments, MAP pre-closure effectiveness checks, and consulting with HCC Officers to develop effective mitigation and remediation efforts.Provide input to assist GACS AsPac LT team to develop and execute a dynamic, risk-based regional assessment strategy to ensure maximum effectiveness of resources to identify, mitigate and manage healthcare compliance risk across all sectors (MedTech (including Medical Devices, Surgical Vision, Vision Care), Innovative Medicines, One SEA, Enterprise Functions). Integrate insights from data mining and analytics to shape strategy and enhance GACS activities. Assist management to adjust the plan, based on resources and risk.Partner with AsPac HCC Sector leads and Officers to understand business initiatives, emerging business models, and potential areas of risk to influence process changes to enable stronger HCC key controls and process changes. Share best practices and trends with other regional managers to influence global strategy.Demonstrate Operational Excellence mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning. Includes evaluating current assessment protocols, service offering to enable optimal risk management based on changing business models, industry changes and regulatory requirements.Develop high functioning team through talent and skill development through recruitment, training, and coaching of team members.Project management – membership or leadershipMeeting planning/organizationAdministrative activities related to the self (e.g., Concur, Travel mgmt., etc.)Other duties as assigned by HCC Management

[Requirements]

Bachelor’s Degree or aboveExperience leading a cross-functional and/or cross-sector team requiredProven track record influencing senior leadership leading in cross-sector/regional role requiredMinimum of 8-10 years of work experience, including 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare industry required3 years of line management or equivalent people leadership experience requiredDemonstrated ability to facilitate and implement process improvements for global, cross-sector initiatives requiredExperience in assessment, monitoring, and utilization of data analytics outputs to extract meaningful and actionable insights requiredExperience and shown leadership in HCC or related compliance/risk management functions (Regulatory, Quality, Finance) are preferredAbility to influence, negotiate and communicate with senior executives requiredDemonstrated quantitative analytical skills required Executive communication skills requiredAbility to manage a high level of complexity using independent judgment and latitude to make critical decisions requiredKnowledge of HCC, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Financial, or auditing practices is preferredTrack record of successful innovation to streamline processes and business operations, including process design and implementation preferredProcess excellence training and certification preferredProject Management certification preferredKnowledge of relevant HCC systems used globally and/or regionally (e.g. iConnect, HCC life, HighBond, EPiC) is preferredKnowledge of information management systems and applications for data mining and analysis (Tableau, Power Bi, alteryx, etc.) is preferred
