Overview MAIN PURPOSE: The role is strategic HR Partner to the Plant Manager. The incumbent guides overall implementation of HR plans and strategies that support the business priorities and measures it’s effectiveness at the plant. He/she also acts as a key advisor to Plant Leadership Team on matters relating to people, talent development and organization development. The role demands to drive organizational initaives for leadership development, performance management, employee training and development, career path, job analysis, effectiveness of org structures etc. Channo is a unionized plant and operates under highly intense IR environment. The incumbent needs to have expertise in managing IR and Union and must have experience of negotiating Long Term Settlements with the workmen union. A sound knowledge of Labour Laws is a must. The incumbent also needs to manage comprehensive staturoy compliances on regular basis. The role involves end to end HR operations including Admin, Facility Management, Security Management, IR, GHK, Contract Labour management, Managing critical world class Zahura facility employing schientists with core competency of Agro development. Responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITY Partner with Channo Plant Manager and Zahura Facility Head to : Strategically lead and execute all HR initiatives & processes end to end to support PepsiCo India vision Partner with PLT on performance management to develop talent roadmap through pipeline and succession plans Diagnose business talent needs, develop HR solutions and implement action plan on an on-going basis Ensure all HR strategies and plans are translated into concrete actions at the plant and lead to tangible results Support the cultural evolution related to DE&I, Talent & Capabilitya at the plant Develop and execute plant level strategies / action plan to improve Organizational Health Score Manage the overall Plant ERC budget and devise workforce planning (hiring, promotion, talent moves, restructuring etc.) accordingly Partner with CoE (TM,TA & TR) to design & customize all HR initiaves in line with the requirements of the plant Support Footprint expansion plans with the right HR strategy Manage IR, Union, workmen and other stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations Ensure statutory coplainces related to labour laws Proactive liosion with govt officials and local stakeholders Qualifications KEY SKILLS & experience REQUIRED High functional competency and experience in core aspects of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations Strong Business acumen especially of Make/Move operations Excellenet Stakeholder management skills Ability to effectivey manage change and complex situations Excellent Interpersonal and Influencing Skills Differentiating competencies REQUIRED Plant HR Manager experience to understand the business operations & nuances from both a strategic and tactical perspective Proven track record of business partnering in large functions/field roles Ability to influence Unions / Workmen, business partners and other stakeholders Comfortable working in ambiguous IR situations Complete working knowledge of Labour Laws Working knowledge of LTS / Union / IR management
