This Senior Manager of IKC Clinical Support will lead the IKC Training and Education team. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of clinical and non-clinical training programs within DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC). This includes the responsibility for proactively driving the enhancement of the training curriculum as a critical partner to the clinical leadership team and IKC stakeholders.  They will ensure the training for teammate skill sets, tool development, and job aids to assist teammates in their roles.  This role will be responsible for the creation of remote and live learning environments as well as quality self-paced courses.

This role requires strong stakeholder management skills that include collaboration and partnership with subject matter experts as well as operational support, product and reporting teams, clinical transformation, and OCMO/clinical services to ensure content and curriculum stay aligned with our IKC clinical strategy.

The ideal candidate will serve as a mentor and coach to other education teammates while serving as a resource for other managers who will also deliver and reinforce training.  An ideal candidate will have:

Clinical training development and delivery experienceExperience with dialysis, integrated care, and/or population health programsExperience with clinical case management principles/standardsDemonstrated ability to design and create complex training curriculumsExperience training a distributed/remote team across multiple locations

Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of (RN and Care Coordinator) teammate training programs for Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) including:

Annual training curriculum development and communicationNew Teammate (RN and CC) Training curriculumIdentifies and develops new training content as well as policies and procedures and assesses existing content as needed based on changes in the program to support company growthManages and provides ongoing coaching to non-clinical educators including Care Coordinators and National Team members when needed.Best practice standards for education delivery (pre-testing, application and theory, etc.) Facilitates clinical training, including onsite classroom and ongoing e-learning, covering topics such as business practices, analytics, quality, and complianceDrives the development and delivery of course curriculum, content, training materials, and educational tools in collaboration with the Clinical Services Team, Subject Matter Experts, and other IKC partners.Creates training for new processes and procedures in addition to updates to existing material.Delivers training in virtual classroom and in-person settings using effective approaches to adult learning including scenario-based training and experiential learning.Maintains knowledge of IKC model of care and works with both Clinical Services Leadership and MOC team to identify areas in the current model/process that would benefit from reinforcement and refresher training.Understands roadmap and plans for model of care innovations that include process, standards, and system updates.  Develop an approach for change management with the team. Responsible for training managers and other teams as deemed necessary to support the rollout of larger initiatives.

Qualifications:

RN Required (preferably 5 years or more)Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in a related areaMinimum of two (2) years training experience in the following areasDevelopment and presentation of skill-based, operational training programsTraining through multiple mediums (live, web-based, self-directed, etc.)Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and ability to apply to different learning stylesExperience in instructional designAdvanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint requiredMinimum of two (2) years experience demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial insurance plans and benefits (PPO, HMO, POS, EPO, Indemnity) as well as government insurance programs (Medicare, Medicaid) preferredMinimum of two (2) years supervisory experience strongly preferredWillingness to travel 20-30%

Salary/ Wage Range

$68,400.00 - $100,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
