Kforce has a client in Commerce, CA that is seeking a Senior Manager - IT Systems. Summary: The Senior Manager of IT Systems will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of IT infrastructure systems and services, including but not limited to servers, cloud computing, database administration, virtualization, and Windows infrastructure. This position will manage a team of IT experts, including engineers and administrators, and will be responsible for setting goals and objectives for the team, monitoring their tasks and projects, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to succeed. This position will also be responsible for ensuring that the team adheres to best practices and that all systems and services are operating at peak performance. This position will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that all systems and services are integrated and functioning effectively. Responsibilities: * Management of team of IT engineers and administrators * Take ownership of projects, prioritize, delegate responsibilities and deliver quality work within specified timelines * Collaborate with other IT leaders to evaluate, develop, and implement workflow improvements * Act as an engineer/architect if needed * Identify new and emerging technologies and solutions that can benefit the company * Design and implement process improvements * Participate in IT budget preparation and contribute to financial decision-making * Proactively monitor the health of systems to minimize or avoid outages * Implement and abide by IT P&P's * Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in IT systems and services and apply that knowledge to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's technology infrastructure
