Position Overview 

The Senior Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for managing analytics and reporting and owning the organization and movement of marketing data across the Paylocity marketing data ecosystem. As a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager, you will be a key thought leader in making strategic data-driven decisions and developing our marketing data ecosystem, and you will own the development and analysis of performance metrics for targeted campaigns and demand generation strategies as well as report on various marketing projects to scale our strategic capabilities. 

You will be advising on process improvement and consulting on scaling data collection, reporting, and analytics. Core to this role is leading a team that is translating data into insights that will direct business strategy for the rest of the marketing and go-to-market organization.

Lead and manage team members in their development of reporting and analytics to answer business questions and develop visualizations, reports, and insights for marketing and sales teams Develop quarterly and annual business goals and prioritize project tasks for a team of analysts and data engineers  Direct data modeling architecture for the go-to-market reporting environment Lead data and tool infrastructure strategy discussions cross-functionally across sales, operations, finance, and product teams Develop processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of reporting by validating across multiple data sources (finance, sales, product, operations) and working with cross-functional groups Educate cross-functional teams on marketing reporting, tools, and data sources providing support and reporting as needed Effectively present analytical results and insights to non-technical team members and senior-level executives. Deliver reporting to the marketing team and executives on regular cadences (daily/weekly/monthly etc.) Lead marketing analytics priority development for demand generation, product marketing, and corporate marketing teams Work on issues where?analysis of situations or data?requires an in-depth knowledge?of organizational objectives Implement strategic policies?when selecting methods,?techniques, and evaluation?criteria for obtaining results Establish and assure?adherence to budgets,?schedules, work plans, and?performance requirements Develop best practices for code review and testing 

Education and Experience 

BS in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, or commensurate experience. MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred 7-10 years relevant experience, preferably 5+ years in a B2B SaaS environment. 2+ years of experience as an analytics manager in a go-to-market function (marketing or sales) 7+ years driving insights with analytics leveraging a deep understanding of the details of how data is created and is used to solve business problems Detailed quantitative analysis expertise to capture insights from data; experience with SQL, R, or Python 5+ years of experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc. 5+ years of experience with data warehouse concepts and ETL/ELT 5+ years of experience with digital analytics (Google Analytics) and/or CRM (Salesforce.com) tools 3+ years measuring effectiveness of digital media and marketing campaigns Experience using Cloud Platforms Strong collaborator—at least 5 years driving cross-functional teamwork. Prior experience working with diverse internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and marketing. Ability to adapt and pivot quickly when market conditions and changing priorities. Demonstrated success in driving and completing multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000/year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
