About The Role

We're looking for an inspiring hands on engineering leader to drive our Middleware Reliability Engineering team at Visa. You'll guide a diverse group of talented engineers ensuring billions of transactions flow seamlessly across the world's largest payment network. This role balances technical leadership with people management, focusing on building both reliable systems and high-performing teams.

Leadership Experience

Technical Background

Strong foundation in middleware technologies (Tomcat, Apache, Springboot, SQS, JBoss, IBM MQ, IBM DataPower, Hazelcast, Flink, Connect Direct, SSL)Understanding of modern infrastructure (Containers, Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms)Experience with observability tools and practices (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)Knowledge of automation and CI/CD practices

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-

10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 12+ years of relevant work experience.
