The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Procurement to join our team within our Corporate Purchasing and Supply Chain Operations team in our Reston, Virginia headquarters office. As our Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of a team of Category and Commodity Managers, with varying levels of procurement experience. Additionally, the Senior Purchasing Manager will own the maintenance and creation of our strategic relationships with our key partners. You will oversee and support the vendor Request for Proposal process which primarily consists of and is not limited to preparation, issuance, analysis, and strategic negotiation of vendor terms and conditions. You will oversee the team that is creating master service agreements (MSA’s) and master pricing agreements (MPA’s) with suppliers. Under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Purchasing, the Senior Manager of Corporate Procurement will also assist with Procurement, Purchasing, and Process Development tasks. Responsibilities related to Procurement and Purchasing will include training initiatives, mentoring and cultivation of staff, and providing input on procurement-related processes, policies, procedures, and work instructions. Additionally, you will support the managing director in the supervision of our data science team on analyses and reporting materials that support Supply Chain Procurement and Purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Category and Commodity Managers with an emphasis on coaching to support skill building and career development that ensures work is assigned based on skill level and resource availability. Acquisition support activities will be required on an as needed basis by the working manager.

• Interface across multiple organizations as well as Senior Management and program levels to resolve issues and drive awareness of program offerings and resources.

• Develop and recommend Purchasing Team employee structures that best utilize staff to achieve long and short-range goals.

• Directing the data analysis and report development team to identify, analyze, and refine metrics on business processes to identify and provide evidence for actionable recommendations and improvements.

• Benchmark industry standards and new industry trends. Work with the data science team to incorporate these into analyses and reporting materials.

• Conduct business reviews with internal customers and suppliers to understand needs and ensure expectations are met and managed.

• Lead process improvement conversations with internal and external stakeholders.

• Review documentation of all team members for procurements requiring management level approval to ensure compliance with government contract requirements and internal policies and procedures.

• Identify training needs for Procurement and Purchasing staff and develop recommended solutions to address those needs.

• Identify opportunities and strategies for cost savings and cost avoidance efforts. Develop recommended solutions to address those needs and review and monitor ongoing Purchasing spend with an eye towards detailed spend analysis.

• Provide management and purchasing support for large scale indirect corporate initiatives.

• Support CACI’s Procurement Compliance team by ensuring staff adhere to procurement policies and procedures in accordance with a government approved purchasing system and company requirements.

• Contribute to group-level projects aimed at improving team efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in purchasing.

• Experience with relevant FAR, DFAR, laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies.

• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.

• 8+ years of experience with procurement solicitation and negotiation.

• Experience in proposal writing and business development processes.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Costpoint

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,800 - $197,700
