Job Summary:

Manage and direct all aspects of golf operations including course conditions, guest services, retail and merchandising. Be accountable for all financials, including capital projects relating to the golf department. Business and brand development that includes creative marketing, sales, promotion and pricing strategies to maximize market share and increase profits. Actively solicit feedback from employees and guests to maintain optimum employee development and guest satisfaction.

Outlet: Park City The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $88,000 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

 

Job Responsibilities:

Establish budgets for golf departments and manage spending to maximize revenues and profitability.  Ensure long term integrity and condition of golf assets through strategic investment in capital equipment, building & maintenance projects, and golf course improvements. Oversee the retail & merchandising of two high-class profitable golf shops. Align, manage and support department managers including senior golf professional, director of golf course maintenance, and retail & merchandising manager.  Establish goals and development plans, and evaluate performance for these year-round direct reports. Implement employee programs for all golf employees to promote safety, proactive development & succession, and engagement.  Align golf operations with hospitality food & beverage operations to assure we meet guest expectations with menu selection, product quality and guest service and achieve department profitability. Establish pricing and marketing strategies for golf with key golf staff. Work with Hospitality Marketing and Sales to increase market share and revenues. Analyze guest feedback regularly to maintain the highest level of guest service and find opportunities to improve the guest experience. Act as liaison to community members and homeowners for issues regarding golf course operations and environmental programs.

 

Job Requirements:

 

PGA Membership or enrollment in the PGM program a plus Must have 3-5 years’ golf operations experience Must have 3-5 previous experience managing line-level employees Must have a valid Driver’s License RPOS, Jonas, Microsoft Office Extensive knowledge of the game of golf Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent leadership skills Professional presentation / PGA standards Excellent guest service and follow-up skills  Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently

 

The expected pay range is $80,000 - $88,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
