Senior Manager of Insights: Pharmacy, OTC and Enterprise Brand

It is responsible for ‘owning’ all insights that are relevant to the “back of store” or Pharmacy area and Over the Counter medications. This role will need to work with business partners at the Director, Sr. Director and VP levels to understand business needs and context, then help plan actionable, insightful, timely, and cost effective research plans to uncover the relevant customer truths. Learning plans will include a variety of research methodologies and data sources (ex. new custom research, ongoing tracking research, syndicated research, existing custom research, etc.), so this individual will need to be able to generate and synthesize insights from a variety of sources into a complete and actionable story. The senior manager will need to: + Understand the dynamics of consumer behavior as it relates to choosing a pharmacy for prescriptions and immunization, ongoing pharmacy experiences, understanding of the competitive marketplace, trip-drivers, painpoints, new concept testing, in-store and online offerings, etc. + Understand consumer behavior as it relates to Over the Counter items (OTC) including current experience, understanding of the competitive marketplace, trip-drivers, painpoints, new concept testing, in-store and online offerings, etc. + Plan and execute research agendas over several months or a year + Use excellent primary and secondary research skills identify fresh and actionable insights + Leverage strong storytelling and influencing skills to turn insights into a compelling narrative that steers our decision makers towards what customers want/need + Participate fully in meetings that include Director + and VPs from across the organization, including RX and front store marketing, store design, merchandising, loyalty and personalization, etc. **Required Qualifications** + 7-10 years of experience designing, planning, analyzing, and delivering successful qualitative and quantitative customer research across a variety of methodologies that meets business partner objectives. Very strong analytical skills are required + A strategic mindset with an ability to connect insights across a variety of data sources and to link them to the operational and financial realities of the business + Compelling communication and storytelling skills, including communication of insights and recommendations both in writing and verbal presentations **Preferred Qualifications** Retail, Pharm or CPG experience Experience consulting and presenting to senior leadership Previous people management experience **Education** Bachelors or equivalent experience ( 4 years) **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
