Senior Manager of Internal Audit

The Senior Manager of Internal Audit will oversee and manage a changing organization experiencing continued growth within and outside the U.S. This individual will report to the VP & Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

Assists in developing Servco’s global internal audit strategy and scopeExecution of audit projects including operational, compliance and information technology risk areasPerforms risk assessments to identify high risk areas, prioritizes initiatives, and determines resource needsAnnually works with board audit committee and senior management to locally and globally set prioritiesIndependently execute full spectrum of the audit cycle including planning, fieldwork and reporting on audit projects including operational and financial business process audits, as well as IT audits including but not limited to the evaluation of the system and network infrastructures, physical and logical security, systems acquisitions and integration, system architecture, change management, systems availability, and business continuityIdentify risks and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s control environment and framework for both business process controls and Informational Technology (IT) controlsServe as a manager with independent responsibilities, operating autonomously without direct reports. Maintains solid understanding of IT processes, infrastructure and control to formulate risk assessments, including in depth knowledge of controls for several key areas of information technologyWorks with cross-functional teams (including process owners, accounting, finance, IT and others) to help create integrated system requirements and provide controls expertiseChampions process re-engineering by challenging the status quo of current processes and suggests improvements or alternatives to address control gapsCommunicates with and educates process owners on the importance of controls, an effective control environment, and the role of internal AuditWorks directly with senior management and auditees to interpret the significance of audit findings and conclude on findings and make practical recommendationsIn charge of evaluating and performing follow up procedures to assess corrective measures and remediations identified in auditsCommunicate results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and/or oral presentations to management and Servco Pacific Inc. (an where applicable subsidiary) audit committee/board in a comprehensive and easy to understand manner

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum ten plus years of progressive audit work experience that demonstrates expertise and best practices on internal controls and internal audit functions, regulatory compliance, and risk managementWork experience with a multi-national company and/or with a company that complies with Sarbanes Oxley a plusWillingness to travel 20-30% occasionally for business meetings, site visits, and other job-related duties as neededKnowledge of COBIT and COSO principlesStrong project management skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficeCPA, CIA or CISA preferredOracle and DealerTrack knowledge preferredData mining tools knowledge preferredStrong communication and presentation skills with a focus on clear, effective writing and speakingHighly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strategic and analytical mindsetProficient in data mining tools, tech-savvy, and driven by intellectual curiosityDemonstrates strong business acumen and the ability to plan strategically
