Job Responsibilities
Supervise the safe and efficient day-to-day operations, maintenance and construction of equipment Responsible for assuring the lifts are in compliance with CPTSB, NEC and all other pertinent regulations Responsible for supervising the safe daily operation and providing a product of the quality desired by the guest and Vail Resorts Responsible for conducting training on safety policies, VR Policies, and ensuring paperwork and procedures are completed in a timely manner Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of all electrical personnel Responsible for winter preventive maintenance program and summer maintenance program to include inspection of work performed to maximize lift safety and minimize lift downtime Maintains all lift maintenance records Develops and organizes the maintenance group activities so that work is accomplished in a complete, orderly, and timely manner Responsible for compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Colorado Dept. of Health regulations as they pertain to USTs and HAZMAT handling Assures that the Director is immediately informed and consulted on all abnormal or unusual conditions, incidents, observations or system malfunctions Assures that all records required by Vail Resorts and the authorities having jurisdiction are kept up-to-date. This includes, but is not limited to, all mechanical and operational procedures, as well as the daily maintenance and operational logs Ensures the department meets the financial goals and maintains proper balance in the budgets. Responsible for department budgets, as well as capital projects, forecasting electrical department financial needs Other duties as assigned by the Director of Lifts
Job Qualifications
High School education or equivalent College degree or technical school - preferred Must be computer proficient Must have a valid US driver's license Very helpful having at least 3 years of experience in lift industry. Must have at least 5 years of experience in the electrical field Must know ANSl, CPTSB, NEC, OSHA rules and regulations as applied to lift maintenance and operations Must have PLC (Pilz, Allen-Bradley, etc..) experience Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives Previous supervisory experience required Must demonstrate management experience in lift maintenance, operations and/or related field Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Must know and understand lift maintenance and operations Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings as required Must be able to work outdoors in various mountain weather conditions Intermediate level skier/snowboarder - preferred
The expected pay range is $90,000 - $105,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
