Senior Manager of Social Media and Public Relations
Description Senior Manager or Director of Social Media and Public Relations with 8+ years of relevant experience needed for a full-time, fully remote position with our client in Greater Boston. Eastern time zone is preferred. Experience in pharma or health tech is highly preferred. Will be responsible for in demand generation, social media management, and public relations. Salary is up to 125K + 15% bonus. We are looking for a Director/Senior Manager of Social Media and Public Relations to guide our company's external communication strategy. In this role, you will oversee demand generation, manage social media, and manage public relations, specifically in the pharmaceutical or pharmacy sectors. Your main objective will be to enhance brand visibility, encourage meaningful engagements, and execute comprehensive strategies that match our business goals. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: • Develop and implement an all-encompassing social media and PR strategy that boosts brand equity and aligns with our business objectives. • Lead demand generation initiatives via innovative digital campaigns that translate engagement into measurable metrics. • Work with cross-functional teams to align PR and social media strategies with broader marketing and sales objectives. Social Media Management: • Oversee the creation, scheduling, and implementation of social media campaigns across various platforms. • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to enhance engagement, follower growth, and ROI. • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities on social platforms. Public Relations: • Establish and manage relationships with the media, influencers, and key stakeholders. • Develop compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content. Content Strategy: • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all channels. • Develop high-quality presentations and materials for internal and external communication. • Discover and utilize storytelling opportunities that spotlight the impact of company solutions. Analytics & Reporting: • Establish KPIs for social media and PR activities, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights. • Regularly present reports on campaign effectiveness to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 8+ years of experience in social media management, public relations, or integrated communications roles. • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or pharmacy sectors. • Demonstrated expertise in demand generation and strategic marketing planning. • Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to create engaging presentations. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling. • Strong project management skills, with the capability to lead multiple campaigns concurrently. • Data-oriented mindset with experience using analytics tools. • Expertise in social media platforms, PR tools, and emerging technologies in digital communications. • Familiarity with HubSpot, DemandBase, and Oktopost is beneficial. • Collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking skills, and adaptability.
