The incumbent is a proven thought leader, a consensus builder, and an integrator of people, processes, and technology. **Specific Job** **Summary** The **Senior Manager, Performance Testing** (Enterprise Test and Performance Automation Architect) is a leadership role that is a member of the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) focused on implementing policies and procedures for the software quality assurance function and test automation. The Test and Performance Automation Architect is a change agent in MVW’s transformation to building and delivering best in class test automation strategies, framework and assets that can be leveraged to test MVW’s applications across the Enterprise. This role is responsible for defining the architecture, setting the standards and best practices for the Test Automation CoE, and for ensuring supplier’s adherence to defined test, automation, and performance standards and best practices. As well, this role is responsible for driving consistency in development practice and tools, quality, and for ensuring re-usability of testing artifacts for applications across the MVW Enterprise. Requires a high level of specialized knowledge and skill in the Information Technology (IT) Testing Automation and Performance Automation discipline. This role works closely with multiple Application Development and business peers to develop application specific testing and performance metrics to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the application. Educate suppliers on the MVW standards and capabilities and review their work product to ensure alignment to these standards and capabilities. Expected** **Contributions** + Establishes common practice and standards across multi-suppliers to ensure consistency of the testing practice including measurement of supplier’s performance + Works closely with platform owners, business analysts, solution architects and solution engineers to develop application specific automation and performance testing metrics to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of an application + Works with supplier to reduce technical debt specific to the automation and performance testing platforms and capabilities + Develops supplier work orders to meet new or enhanced automation or performance testing needs + Accountable for oversight of all testing assets developed by suppliers to ensure MVW policy and standards are met or exceeded + Assesses emerging technologies by evaluating, selecting, and calibrating test automation tools for alignment to future development strategies + Designs, develops, and maintain sautomation testing frameworks for testing the user interface of browser-based web and mobile applications + Designs, develops, and maintains load/performance test strategies that integrate monitoring and analytical data to drive better test design + Designs, develops, and maintains automation testing frameworks for testing web services + Prepares a test results strategy that drive all results to a common repository for analysis and reporting by project stakeholders, IT leadership, product owners, and audit/compliance teams + Creates a strategic test management plan that minimizes maintenance, insolates automation code from application change, drives down development effort, improves playback consistency, and reduces playback durations + Measures and reports on the continuous cost savings of all test automation efforts + Drives suppliers to provide project estimations that are more accurate to keep project overruns to a minimum + Provides input in project reviews to identify risks and dependencies that cause refinement of the automation component estimates, adjustments to key milestones, and measurement of plan variances + Collaborates with database administrators, product owners, and subject matter experts to optimize data selection techniques and improve test data quality + Develops a strategic test tool plan to identify best-fit following careful review of project requirements + Oversees the test automation repository strategy by selecting tools and strategies that provide agility to test both emergency and planned releases + Identifies opportunities to further optimize the MVW cloud test experience leading technology Test Automation and Performance Automation teams including experience operating in a globally sourced operating model leveraging suppliers for testing services + 7+ years’ experience in Designing and Developing Test Automation frameworks + 5+ years’ experience Selenium, Appium, UFT Developer, Ready API, and LoadRunner + 5+ years’ experience with ALM, SOAP UI or
