Senior Manager - Procurement

 Job Description: 

As a Senior Manager - Procurement, you will work closely with the Sourcing team, Procurement Operations team, Functional Leadership team, and Key Stakeholders on competitive cost sourcing initiatives support key business areas supporting multiple spend categories. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insights which will minimize the total cost of ownership in the assigned categories and deliver value to the organization.

Role

Lead and develop a diverse team coaching and developing competencies required for current and future needsProvide leadership and expertise in a variety of areas including category strategy support and development, RFX development and oversight, market analysis and supplier negotiationsCoach the development and execution of source plans for key spend categoriesSupport and advise on contract negotiations, development and execution with key supply partnersChampion cross-functional project teams to enabling sourcing strategiesMentor team to develop constructive supplier relationships for a variety of categoriesAccountable to deliver annual key performance indicators including cost reduction targets in assigned categoriesProvide coaching and advise on bids, analysis and negotiations for goods and servicesEnsure accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to BlackBerry standard processOversee the business relationship with key supplier activities including ordering, communication of demand/volume/ delivery time changes, issue resolution, sharing end-user feedback, follow up on backorders, quality claims etc.Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of incumbent and disruptor suppliers and their capabilitiesManage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the companyIdentify, prioritize, initiate and impact key business opportunitiesWork with stakeholders and leadership teams to implement and enforce polices that increase spend visibility and compliance

What You’ll Bring:
