A Brief Overview
As a Senior Project Manager for the Pharmacy Business Compliance Team, you will support the Aetna Pharmacy Health Plan Business Integrity Unit which is responsible for managing and adhering to Pharmacy business compliance with state and Federal reporting regulations and will support the implementation and quality assurance of Qualified Health Plans. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading/supporting multiple large-scale Pharmacy Compliance projects at the same time including coordination, planning, development, implementation, and financial impact analysis.

Some other essential components of this role include:  being accountable for establishing and managing cross-functional implementation workgroups, anticipating business and resource needs, setting priorities, establishing accountabilities, managing relationships which are not under your direct control, identifying and assessing risk and issues, adhering to timelines, executing and ensuring documentation is clear and concise.

Also, you will work independently to identify requirements, to research and resolve barriers to progress, and to influence team members to work with urgency.

What you will do

Allocates accountability by assigning clear responsibilities and expectations to project team members, ensuring effective project execution.

Analyzes the organization's project management practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance project efficiency and success.

Approves project plans, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Attends project meetings and collaborates with multiple departments, fostering cross-functional collaboration and coordination to achieve project milestones.

Communicates direction and project goals to the project team, providing clear guidance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Conducts project evaluations and assessments, monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Consolidates information from various sources, synthesizing project data and insights to provide comprehensive reports and updates to stakeholders.

Controls the development of project networks or departments, overseeing resource allocation, budget management, and performance tracking to achieve project objectives.

Counsels and mentors project team members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to enhance their skills and performance in project management.


For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

At least 8 years or more of program/project management, project implementation and/or project consultation experience (PMP Preferred)

Eight (8) years or more of healthcare experience (or education/work experience)

Detail oriented, proactive and possesses strong execution skills.

Proficient in MS Office

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
