Is this the role for you?

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our creative team in Madrid to work with our brands in Spain: Comedy Central and Paramount Network channels, as well as collaborating with PlutoTV on campaign production.

You will work with the Creative Operations Manager and Creative team in the region. You will be the main contact for our collaborators and internal clients, including Marketing, Local Production, and Social/Digital teams in the region. Your focus will be on project management, ensuring a detailed production process, budget control, and collaborator management.

You will also be responsible for administrative and production tasks such as briefing and booking freelancers, recruiting new agencies and coordinating and handling technical equipment.

You will ensure that the production (promos, on-air elements, key visuals, short form, social assets...) is delivered on time, within budget and meets the technical requirements for TV/digital broadcasting.

 

What will you be doing?

Control and monitor the local budget for MTVE's local brands or any other future launches or channels. Build PO requests for local vendors (freelancers, external vendors), track vendor billing issues and rates, and produce detailed reports. Develop and update annual planning for local projects for each brand. Provide accurate and detailed estimates when planning the team's resources. Responsible for project co-ordination and management of all campaigns, on-air and off-air, from briefing to delivery. Book all creative freelancers and facilities. Responsible for external freelancers and suppliers in terms of time, budget and planning. Booking of voice artists, recording sessions and sound mix. Reviewing and preparing final voiceover scripts, materials and other sound requirements, coordinating materials. Updating contact list, meeting new contacts, negotiating budgets and setting up new suppliers. Establish and maintain liaison with local departments and proactively attend meetings. Liaise with internal legal department as the need arises to ensure projects are completed in an appropriate manner. Support international strategies and alignments between territories in Europe. Support and supervision of server storage. Implementing, applying and improving standardised procedures and systems. Proactively work on and communicate new workflows.

 

What are we looking for?

Approximately 3 years' relevant media production experience, ideally in a project management or media management role. Phenomenal teammate. Experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team. Personal leadership: able to inform and guide others towards overall goals. Consistent track record of delivering successful media production projects. Strong planning and organisational skills. Experience of preparing, phasing, controlling and being accountable for (production) budgets. Excellent influencing and persuasion skills. Strong collaborator management skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Proficient in Spanish and English. Confident, self-reliant and resilient.
