Specifically, this role will entail managing a team responsible for designing, planning, and implementing all IT enhancements, upgrades, and major projects, including the management of external resources (onshore & offshore) in achieving those objectives. This Senior Manager should have a solid, hands-on technical background while also having a proven track record in managing and motivating people. Your ability to have a self-starter attitude, strong problem-solving skill & experience, negotiating and presentation skills, and a commitment to excellence will be critical to your success. _Expectations for the Role:_ + Have a solid understanding of continuous integration, deployment, and operations concepts + Develop and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by senior management + Working independently in formulating innovative ideas and solutions on products, processes, and systems + Be comfortable for managing an innovation team + Have prior experience in managing teams at Onshore and Offshore + Understand license renewal, ability for cost estimation for hardware, software and license + Proven understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms + Ability to appropriately manage and monitor high volumes of data + Have a high level understanding of machine learning use cases as it relates to SRE data + Solid understanding of data growth, future hardware estimation based on the data growth, cost software roadmap planning **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** + At least 7 years of experience supporting or managing Software Development projects with at least 2 years of experience directly managing a software development team + 5+ years working within an Agile environment + 2+ years of experience with Python development + 2+ years of experience with Front End technologies like Vue or Angular **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Compliance - Understanding remediating Application code and OS vulnerabilities + Monitoring and Alerting – Good understanding of monitoring application using third party tools and / or custom monitoring tools created by developers + Prior experience in supporting / managing applications in Production environment is needed + Comfortability in handling high visible, critical projects + Experience in executing projects in Linux OS + Prior experience in Retail domain or in distributed deployment + Ability to manage and monitor high volume of data **EDUCATION** Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) **BUSINESS OVERVIEW** Bring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
