As a Senior Manager-Strategy & Operations at Tempus, you’ll be on the front lines of our battle to develop and deliver cutting-edge, modern technology into the hands of clinicians. The software we’re developing is the culmination of input from scientists, clinicians, pathologists, engineers, data scientists, and some of the top academic centers in the world. We’re expanding the team of Strategy and Operations leaders who bring those inputs together to design, scope, and build solutions to some of the toughest problems in cancer care.
What You'll Do:
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company and team goals. You are the owner of this solution and the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch to phasing out of the product(s). Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product's core value proposition. A key part of requirement gathering is ensuring you get inputs from diverse stakeholders both on the provider side as well as the payor / pharma side. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market using optimal resources. Use existing tools to manage product epics and delivery thereof. Lead clinical studies in close partnership with Clinical, Regulatory and Reimbursement teams at Tempus to build evidence for the solution. Develop and maintain an understanding of the product, market, and competition. Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and consistent growth. Analyze product performance and customer feedback to inform product refinement and future development. Coordinate with sales and customer support to understand customer experiences and identify opportunities for product improvements.Qualifications:
7+ years of healthcare experience - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health-sciences, Engineering, or related field; Clinical experience would be highly valuable. 5+ years of product management or related experience. Strong understanding of software development and web technologies. Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
