You will: 
•    Identify opportunities to enhance workforce planning tools and systems, implement solutions to accurately capture labor spend and productivity, and drive successful adoption of labor management initiatives
•    Develop plans for current and future operating environments in alignment with senior leadership and business stake holders including HR, Finance, Operations, Client Services, Product and other cross-functional teams
•    Design strategies that focus on monitoring and improving employee efficiency across the Ecommerce network
•    Ensure glue-like adherence to optimal staffing at sites by means of consistent governance of tools, a standardized approach to effective forecasting and planning / optimization and minimization models
•    Clearly assess and optimize shift designs to acclimatize to growing client base, fluctuating order profiles, and network modifications by proving business case and spearheading change
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science and Innovation teams, Business Insight teams, and external software providers to accelerate learning and industry leading advancements
•    Empower and coach Facility Managers and leadership to utilize decision support reporting, dashboards, and tooling
•    Create ELS program/strategy and long-term dynamic strategy to ensure we are continually aligned with the business changes and implementation of ELS across the organization
•    Develop repeatable data capturing methods to measure results against plans and goals
•    Routinely audit cost models used for new and existing business to appropriately encompass processes steps, involve key-decision makers to drive results
•    Develop Labor Management strategy that will ensure we have accurate data and systems to allow for labor tracking and performance monitoring.
•    Create long term labor planning tools and labor predicting models through data science

Your background:

As a Workforce Optimization Manager you have:
•    Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science, or other quantitative discipline required
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Ability to interpret and modify VBA code and/or define technical requirements, vlookup, dynamic dataset manipulation, pivot tables, data source connections, conditional statements and formatting
•    Strong analytical abilities to interpret data from many internal systems and channels and form actionable insights
•    Persuasive and relationship building skills to drive adoption of change for the better
•    Effective communication skills across all media to technical and non-technical audiences
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
•    Clear vision and plan to increase service margins
•    Able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred
•    eCommerce services experience
•    Familiarity with user experience and human-system interaction
•    Statistical analysis with data sets containing excessive variation
•    2-4 years of experience in workforce planning
•    Proficiency with MS Excel , macros, VBA, PowerBI/Tableau, Snowflake, or other programming language
