Job Summary:
If you are looking for an opportunity in manufacturing engineering, Emerson has this exciting role for you! The Manufacturing Engineer will manage and address the quality issues and will implement business initiatives for process improvement and compliance.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Ensures processes and equipment are operated in compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety Regulations and Policies. Develops and updates manufacturing procedures and related documentation following Global Quality Distribution Standards. Applies engineering, statistical tools, and other problem-solving methodologies in resolving manufacturing issues. Leads and/or participate in process development, training, qualification, and validation activities for New Product or technology transfers. Performs engineering changes to business systems and product lines. Creates and maintains Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, and Engineering related support. Improves manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, and equipment layout optimization, automation, and digital transformation. Identifies and ensures implementation of cost reduction and continuous improvement programs. Provides technical solutions to new manufacturing technology as required by the process. Proactively identify technical risks within projects and influence design teams in their resolution. Engagement in DFX to ensure products can be manufactured and assembled to the highest quality levels. Works with suppliers for contracted equipment and conducts FMEA to deliver solutions that are robust and mistake-proof. Works collaboratively with other cross-function teams in attaining the project and business goals. Performs any other tasks as and when required.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Trained in Lean techniques, SPC and Six Sigma, and Process Improvement tools. Able to think out of the box and be a team player, with a strong desire to learn more. Good communication skills (verbal & written) and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Computer skills- Oracle business system and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint) skills preferred. Automation skills are an added advantage.Our Offer To You:
