Job Title: Senior Manufacturing EngineerJob Description As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, safety, and performance. You will collaborate with the Product Development team to design and implement manufacturing processes for unique products, propose strategies to enhance throughput and reduce waste, and create training materials to ensure best practices. Additionally, you will stay informed on industry trends and advancements. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and enhance equipment and manufacturing systems to improve production efficiency, safety, and performance. + Partner with the Product Development team to design, scale, and implement manufacturing processes tailored to unique products. + Identify and propose strategies to increase throughput, yield, and utilization while reducing waste. + Create and maintain training materials and programs to ensure best practices are followed in all operational areas. + Stay informed on industry trends and advancements through research, training, and hands-on experimentation. Essential Skills + 7 - 10 years of experience in Manufacturing + 5+ years of hands-on equipment troubleshooting + 5+ years of process/continuous improvement + AAS or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + Expertise in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, equipment troubleshooting/maintenance, data analysis, process improvement, chemical engineering, materials engineering, process engineering, continuous improvement, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, and SolidWorks. Work Environment This is an onsite position with a very flexible schedule. The company offers paid training through local technical schools. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Supervisor and/or Director. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
